What are the ingredients?

How much should I use?

You can use as much or as little as you like. For nesting boxes, 1/2 cup for each box is a good place to start. Whenever you clean your nesting boxes, you can add more herbs. For dust bathing areas, add 1/2 cup once a week.

Can I mix MitesBGone with diatomaceous earth?

Yes, but many of our customers report success without using diatomaceous earth. If you like, you can mix as much or as little of MitesBGone with diatomaceous earth as you want. 1 part MitesBGone with 1 part diatomaceous earth is a good place to start.

How much MitesBGone should I buy?

It depends on how large your flock is and how committed you are to keeping your coop clean. Most customers prefer to buy a 20 ounce or 4 pound bag so they always have some on hand, and report that being prepared helps them sleep better.

A 20 ounce bag (1.25 pounds) will last about a month with a flock of 10 chickens. If you're not sure MitesBGone is for you, then a 5 ounce bag is a low-commitment option that let's you discover if your chickens like it. Many customers find the 4 and 8 pound bags are most economical.
